Our experience
We have been helping children find new parents for more than 40 years, and we are proud of the sensitive and professional service we offer adopters and children. Our adoption service is rated outstanding by Ofsted.
Helping you to adopt
We work with you towards becoming adoptive parents, and we are there for you throughout the process. Once you are approved to adopt we will find a child who is a good match for your family.
In addition, our acclaimed early permanence service places babies with families who may go on to adopt them. The scheme avoids disruption for the babies involved and helps bonding with the adoptive family start sooner.
Support for as long as you need us
At Coram, we believe that becoming a family is not the end of the story. We recognise that adoptive families and their children may need difference kinds of support as their children grow. Adoption support is available to all Coram families for as long as they need it.
We have a dedicated adoption support team of experienced social workers who will help you to build strong family relationships throughout childhood and adolescence. We are able to offer you various kinds of support, including art and music therapy for adopted children and young people, parenting skills groups, regular workshops, social events and support groups.
